The Dutch Fashion Foundation (DFF) can safely be referred to as the representation platform for the highest level of Dutch fashion design.

With inspiring fashion experiences, bringing together peers from the industry with the objective to further strengthen the position of Dutch fashion within the international fashion system, DFF establishes a framework for new collaborations in innovation and inspiration.

This November 6th , the Dutch Fashion Foundation will organize the third edition of the Mercedes-Benz Dutch Fashion Awards: An initiative in order to create a focus moment in the entire Dutch fashion industry. This evening, an international jury will choose the Dutch fashion design label most likely to succeed in bringing its label onto the international market. This design label receives the Mercedes-Benz Dutch Fashion Award 2009: a financial reward of 25.000 euro which will enable the label to take further steps in the international fashion industry.

The Mercedes-Benz Dutch Fashion Awards is a celebration moment for Dutch fashion, created to assemble the Dutch fashion field and industry. I t is a collective freeze moment to develop the Dutch fashion industry and boost innovative design. The Mercedes-Benz Dutch Fashion Awards call the attention of the international fashion industry to Dutch fashion and connects fashion creativity with commerce. This annual focus moment is also a presentation platform for the highest level of Dutch fashion talent.
