The exhibition 'Generation Y?' in Dutch Design Hotel Artemis shows pieces of artists and designers born between 1980 and 2000

This generation balances between teens and adults and they still dream about their future. The Slotervaart hospital is close to the hotel and we are aware that not everyone in Generation Y can look to the future in a positive way without worries.

In cooperation with the online gallery Anoniem Anno Nu, Dutch Design Hotel Artemis created a creative project to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. This foundation makes dreams come true for very ill children, so that they can have a chance to forget their sorrows and dream as every child should.

Everyone in Generation Y is glued to their smart phone and since applications like Hipstamatic everyone thinks he can take beautiful photo's. That is why Anoniem Anno Nu and Dutch Design Hotel Artemis went searching for the most beautiful and inspiring Hipstamatic photo's. The 50 photo's with the most likes on the Facebook page of Anoniem Anno Nu will be printed and presented anonymously on a big wall in our hotel. The photo's are for sale for €30.00 a piece and when a photo is sold the name of the photographer shows up at the spot behind your photo. With every sold photo we donate the entire amount to the Make-A-Wish Foundation!
