Color has taken a central place in our lives since time immemorial. The color red stood for violence and sin in the Middle Ages. Devils were therefore often depicted in red and also were red-haired women suspected of witchcraft. And so there are numerous Beth stories about colors. Think of the effect that red would have on bulls. Colors often give meaning to our lives. We stop for a red traffic light and drive through at green. We know that a banana is ripe when it is yellow.
Colors also give meaning to people. They represent a pallet of characteristics that makes every person unique. A well-known psychologist states that YELLOW stands for vision and creativity. BLUE represents rationality, analysis and functionality. RED on the other hand stands for sense and sociability. GREEN stands for planning, organizing and details.
Find out your personal color at the exhibition ‘iColor’! With your personal color card you can discover if you are yellow, red, green, or blue. The exhibition ‘iColor‘ invites you to discover which color affects you and what color does to you.
